Légende
Waterloo Bridge, London, during its construction in 1937-42. The tower at the southern end of the bridge was a shot tower, built in 1811-17 and since demolished; the Queen Elizabeth Hall now occupies the site. Barges are moored in mid stream or beached around the bridgehead. St Paul's Cathedral and the City can be seen in the far distance.
