The Lion Brewery surmounted by its Coade stone lion, and the shot works on the south bank of the River Thames adjoining Waterloo Bridge, London, c1945-c1965. The brewery was built in 1836 and the shot tower in 1811-17. Both have since been demolished and the site is now occupied by the Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall.
