St Michael's Chapel, Wenlock Priory, Much Wenlock, Shropshire, 1998. St Michael's Chapel, seen here across the cloister, is a room which survives at first floor level in the south-west corner of the priory church. Also visible is the lavatorium, the monks' communal washbasin, in the corner of the cloister. The cloister is ornamented with topiaried shrubs. The surviving buildings of the Cluniac Priory of Wenlock date mainly from the 13th century.
