Gate piers on the Glenthorne Estate, Countisbury, Devon, 1999. This gateway, in a Gothic-Tudor style, marks one of the entrances to the Estate. The house is approached by a long, winding drive. The Glenthorne Estate was built c1830 by the Reverend WS Halliday in a sheltered bay facing the Bristol Channel.
