Tate Modern (Bankside Power Station), London, 1901. Like Battersea this power station (now the Tate Modern) was designed by Sir Giles Scott and was opened in 1963. Its characteristic single chimney stands at the southern end of the controversial Millennium Bridge. To the right of the chimney is the reconstruction of Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.
