Atkinson Free Library, Southport, Lancashire, 1890-1910. An elevated view of Lord Street with Cambridge Hall on the left (with a high tower of 132 feet) and the Library and Art Gallery to the right. The hall was built in 1873-1874 by Maxwell & Tuke. The library and art gallery dates from 1876-1878.
