Unloading a cargo of tea, c1871-c1890. Crates of tea are being unloaded from a ship and transferred to a wharehouse. A man in a top hat on the right inspects the merchandise from an opened crate. In the bottom left the bowels of the ship and its workers can be seen. Crates of tea are being winched to the upper level of the store, where a group of merchants with paperwork are hunched over the crates. A pair of weighing scales can be seen behind them.
