A 'poster parade' of Ealing suffragettes advertising a meeting to be held on Ealing Common, 1st June 1912. Wearing sandwich boards advertising the meeting. This one in a series of weekly demonstrations designed to prove there was a popular demand for women's suffrage. As well as the advertised speakers, three local men also took the platform, a man wearing a sandwich board can be seen at the back. The Ealing WSPU's branch was at no 35 Warwick Road.
