Lord Northcliffe's chauffeur changing a tyre, (c1908?). Lord Northcliffe stands by the front of the vehicle watching his chauffeur at work. Newspaper proprietor Alfred Harmsworth, Lord Northcliffe, was a motoring enthusiast who imported a number of Mercedes cars from Germany in the 1900s and owned the first one in the country.
