Geoff Healey (on the left), and Donald Healey, late 1940s. With the Healey Westland and Elliot models. Donald Healey was a rally driver, automobile engineer, and speed record holder. After WWII he began to build his own cars. In 1946 his Elliot was the finest production saloon to cover 100 miles an hour. The Westland was also designed by him and built in the Westland Aircraft factory.
