1908 Lanchester. Formed in 1905, the Lanchester Motor Company was the first British motor manufacturer to export left-hand drive cars, with overseas customers including Henry Ford and a number of Indian Maharajahs. Lanchesters enjoyed a reputation for being reliable cars. The company was taken over by the BSA/Daimler group in 1933, and production of Lanchesters was reduced, the last car being built in 1955.
