Gilles Villeneuve racing a Ferrari 312T5, British Grand Prix, Brands Hatch, 1980. He was forced to retire from this race due to engine problems. In 1978 he joined the Ferrari team and won the Canadian Grand Prix that year. He stayed with Ferrari for the rest of his career. He was killed in qualifying for the 1982 Belgian Grand Prix at Zolder. He is the father of the racing driver Jacques Villenueve.
