Légende
Motorcyclists with Mk1 Brough Superiors outside the Land's End Hotel, Cornwall, 1921. They are pictured after completing the MCC London to Land's End Trial. From left to right, the riders are George Brough, SW Ratcliffe and H Karslake. Brough's Nottingham-built machines were advertised as being the 'Rolls-Royce' of motorcycles. Expensive and powerful, they were mostly handmade, many powered by JAP (JA Prestwich) engines, and some by Matchless. These OHV Mk1 machines are amongst the first produced by the company.
