Jacky Ickx in a Ferrari, Spanish Grand Prix, Jarama, Madrid, 1968. His race only lasted 13 laps due to an ignition problem. As well as being the winner of 8 Formula 1 Grands Prix, Jacky Ickx was also a phenomenally successful driver in sportscar racing. The Belgian won many victories in endurance races, including 6 wins at Le Mans, in 1969, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1981 and 1982. He was World Sportscar Champion in 1982 and 1983, and won the Can-Am World Championship in 1979. Ickx drove for Ferrari in Formula 1 in 1968 and again from 1970 to 1973.
