Two women model the latest fashions, 1861. Both women are wearing full hooped skirt dresses with tight fitting bodices. The woman on the left is wearing a fitted coat over the top of her dress. One can see the crinoline ruffles at the bottom of her dress which were added to make the skirt look even fuller.
