View of the foundation of London Bridge, 1825. The 'New' London Bridge was designed by Scottish civil engineer John Rennie and built between 1824 and 1831. It was replaced by the current bridge built between 1967 and 1972 and was sold and rebuilt in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, USA.
