Ice pail depicting a Highlander and a Spanish militiaman, 1817-1819. Item in Apsley House, London, from the Duke of Wellington's Prussian Service, made in Berlin in 1817-1819. This was a gift to the Duke from the King of Prussia, and depicts scenes from the Peninsular War. Shown are a British Highlander (42nd Foot - Black Watch) and a Spanish Miquelet (militia from Catalonia or Valencia).
