Wollaton Hall, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, 1885. Exterior view of the entrance front. An Elizabethan house built in the 1580s, Wollaton Hall today houses the Nottingham Natural History Museum. The house is believed to have been designed by Robert Smythson, the architect of Longleat and Hardwick Hall, for Sir Francis Willoughby.
