This picture frame, 5 3/4 in (14.5cm) wide and 5 1/4 in (13cm) high, is typical of the elaborate silver and enamel wares which the Gorham Corporation was producing in the USA at the beginning of this century. It carries the usual Gorham trademarks - a lion, an anchor and a decorative capital G.
