Simchat Torah at the Choral Temple, Bucharest, Romania, 1969. Rabbi Moses Rosen (1912-1994) officiating at the Simchat Torah, a Jewish autumn festival celebrating the Torah (the written Jewish law). As a member of the Romanian parliament, Rosen represented Bucharest's Jewish population, and led the Jewish community during the Communist regime.
