Sewing together completed sections of a Sefer Torah, 1974. Scribe Bernard Nuremberger sews together completed sections of a Sefer Torah (scroll of Jewish religious law). The beginning and end sheets of the parchment scroll are sewn to two staffs around which the Torah is progressively wound and unwound as it is read.
