Légende
A phoenix-headed vase, the phoenix head surmounted by a foliated cup mouth. The phoenix head in the narrow neck only indicated, the tall neck in Tang style with seven ridges, the lower two thirds of the body of graceful jar form slightly pinched in about 2.5cm from the base. There are two incised lines round the shoulders and three lines round the pinched section. The ewer is covered with an orange brown glaze down three quarters of its length over a white slip.
