Bronze tiger weight with silver inlays, Western Han dynasty, China, 2nd century BC. A silver-inlaid bronze tiger lying curled up with tail tucked between the rear legs and over the back. Its head is raised with mouth open, its neck is long and coiled, the feet have prominent claws grouped together in two pairs.
