Waisted tubular jade bead with panchi decoration, Spring and Autumn period, China, 770 BC-475 BC. A tubular jade bead, waisted with one end broad, the other narrower. The bead is pierced through from both ends and decorated with two bands of confronted stylised dragon heads in low relief showing clearly the eye, upturned snout and fang of the panchi design elements.
