Jade axe blade with two holes, neolithic, Liangzhu culture, China, c3400-2250 BC. A jade axe blade of yellowish green colour with white flecks with two holes at the top both drilled from the side only. There is another hole incomplete with traces of cinnabar. The blade is nicely smoothed.
