Blue and white lime pot, Ming dynasty, China, second half of 15th century. A small blue and white lime pot and cover decorated with a wide band of scrolling chrysanthemums and leaves between parallel blue lines. The pointed domed cover has a wide band of flower sprays. The glaze has a slightly greyish tinge and the body is oxidized where exposed.
