Moulded qingbai cup with unglazed rim, Southern Song dynasty, China, 12th century. A small qingbai cup of fine quality with unglazed rim. The glaze is of even sky blue colour. The cup has a woven basket shape with rounded base and no footrim. There is some patterning under the glaze to show horizontal stripes.
