Qingbai waterdropper of a girl on a mythical beast, Late Southern Song/Yuan dynasty, China, 13th century. Qingbai waterdropper of a girl sitting on top of a cow-like mythical beast with a two-pronged horn. The girl is facing to one side, the beast with head pointing up and 'baying'. The pale blue glaze pools in decorative recesses and stops short at the base.
