Martaban type jar, Cham culture (?) c1300-1470. A large Martaban type jar with restricted neck and rounded flat mouth rim. There are six loop handles with lion masks with incised ''wang' character on their foreheads and bulbous upper body tapering to flat base. The jar is decorated on one side with incised and applied warrior figures on horse and on foot in a landscape, and a woman and hare in landscape on the reverse between classic scroll borders with yellowish brown glaze on upper body.
