Mirror decorated with a unicorn, Late Southern Song dynasty, China, 13th century. A small bronze mirror with narrow flat undecorated edge and long handle. The round mirror is decorated in the centre with a unicorn (probably to be identified as a xiu-niu) gazing at a crescent moon in relief.
