Légende
A ten-sided shallow lobed dish with narrow flattened rim is dressed with a cafe au lait slip and decorated with flower heads and partial diaper/'lightning' patterns. The centre has a lion dog (shi shi), banded hedge, grasses and a peony tree with three flowers all in fully developed Kakiemon enamels typical of the palette of c.1680. The reverse is undecorated.
