Cizhou polychrome yuhuchun vase, Jin or Yuan dynasty, China, 13th century. A Cizhou vase of yuhuchun shape with white underslip and polychrome overglaze decoration of peonies and leaves. The shoulder has a plain red band above a yellow ground floral band. The base is unglazed showing the greyish body.
