Glastonbury Tor and Ancient Tithe Barn, Somerset, 20th century. St Michael's Tower, a Grade I listed building sits on hilltop in Glastonbury in the English county of Somerset. Tithe barns were used in the Middle Ages to store rents and tithes as one tenth of a farm's produce which was given to the Church.
