Lithuania was annexed and occupied by the Soviet Union as part of the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact signed between the USSR and Nazi Germany in 1940. It was captured by the Germans after they invaded Russia in June 1941. A print from Signal, August 1942. Signal was a magazine published by the German Third Reich from 1940 through 1945.
