Statue of Djoser, Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, 27th century BC. Djoser (Zoser) is the best-known pharaoh of the 3rd dynasty of Ancient Egypt. He ordered the building of the stepped pyramid at Saqqara. This is the oldest known Egyptian life-sized statue. Found in the collection of the Egyptian National Museum, Cairo, Egypt.
