Captain Marconnet and Lieutenant Fequant, French army aviators, c1910. On 9th June 1910 Marconnet and Fequant made the first aerial reconnaisance flight in an aeroplane. Fequant flew the Farman biplane while Marconnet took photographs of the ground below using a handheld camera. French postcard.
