Johan Willem Friso, Prince of Orange, (19th century). Friso (1687-1711), stadholder of Friesland, was a general in charge of Dutch troops during the War of Spanish Succession, under the command of the Duke of Marlborough. He died young, drowning during a storm while crossing the Hollands Diep in a ferry boat.
