Ginger Rogers, American actress, 1934-1935. Ginger Rogers appeared in 73 films over a 35 year movie career. She is best known for her partnership with Fred Astaire, with whom she starred in 9 musicals in the 1930s. In 1941 she won the Best Actress Oscar for her performance in Kitty Foyle.
