Cary Grant, English born film actor, 1934-1935. Born Archibald Alexander Leach, Cary Grant emigrated to the United States in 1920. He began his Hollywood career in 1931, developing into one of its biggest stars. He was a favourite actor of Alfred Hitchcock and appeared in several of the director's films including North by Northwest. Taken from Meet the Film Stars, by Seton Margrave. (London, 1934-1935).
