Légende
The Bridge of Sighs and Doge's Palace, Venice, 1937. Designed by Antonio Contino and built in 1600, the Bridge of Sighs connects the old prison of Venice to the interrogation rooms in the Doge's Palace. The view from the bridge was the last glimpse of Venice convicts would get before they entered prison. Local tradition has it that a couple will enjoy eternal love if they kiss while passing under the bridge on a gondola at sunset.
