Elvaston Castle, Derbyshire, home of the Earl of Harrington, c1880. Originally built in 1633, the house was remodelled by James Wyatt in the 1800s and further modified by Lewis Nockalls Cottingham in the 1830s. Wood-engraved plates after paintings by Benjamin Fawcett and Alexander Francis Lydon.
