Pages from the cartulary of Osney Abbey, c1275 (1886). Osney Abbey was an Augustinian monastery founded Osney, Oxfordshire, in 1129. It briefly served as the seat of the Bishop of Oxford after dissolution in 1539, but fell into ruin after the see was transferred to Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford, in 1546.
