Simone Simon, French film actress, c1938. Simone Simon's (1910-2005) film acting career lasted from 1931 until 1957. When she died, French Culture Minister Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres described her as one of the most seductive and most brilliant stars of the French cinema of the first half of the 20th century.
