The Capture of the 'Virginius'. The steamship 'Virginius' was on an expedition to Cuba when it was captured on 31st of October 1873 and taken to Santiago de Cuba. in November 4, chiefs were executed and on the 7th the captain Mr Pry and 50 crew members were executed. Cigar card from the History of Cuba, Geografico Universal, Propaganda de los Cigarros Susini y La Corona, Tabacalera Cubana.
