Richard III, King of England from 1483, (1932). Richard (1452-1485) was the last Plantagenet King of England. His death at the Battle of Bosworth in 1485 ended the Wars of the Roses and ushered in the new Tudor dynasty with Henry VII (1457-1509) as its first King.
