Waterloo & Military General Service Medal 1793-1814'. The Waterloo Medal and Military General Service Medals 1793-1814 were awarded to fearless soldiers who fought at the Battle of Waterloo (18 June 1815), at the Battle of Ligny (16 June 1815) or at Battle of Quatre Bras (16 June 1815). The silver medallion features the effigy of the Prince Regent with the inscription GEORGE P. REGENT, while the reverse depicts the seated figure of Victory with the words WELLINGTON and WATERLOO below and the date JUNE 18 1815. On the blue and red ribbon there are 9 clasps with the names of different battles and sieges.
