Zeppelin LZ 120 Bodensee, 1919, (1932). The LZ 120 Bodensee passenger-carrying airship built by Zeppelin Luftschiffbau. It operated a passenger service between Berlin and Friedrichshafen. It was later handed over to the Italian Navy as war reparations in place of airships that had been sabotaged by their crews, and renamed 'Esperia'. From "Die Eroberung Der Luft", (The Conquest of the Air), cigarette card album produced by the Garbáty cigarette factory, 1932. Eugene and Moritz Garbáty, who were Jewish, were driven out of business by the Nazis in the late 1930s, and forced to sell their factory which lay empty for over 70 years.
