'Jerome Bonaparte', (1933). Portrait of Jerome Bonaparte (1784-1860), brother of Napoleon. Jerome was King of Westphalia from 1807-1813. He served in Napoleon's Russian campaign and at the Battle of Waterloo. After the fall of his brother he lived in Florence, but returned as a Marshal of France and President of the Senate under the rule of his nephew, Napoleon III. After a miniature of 1810 by Louis-François Aubry. From "Gestalten Der Weltgeschichte", a book of cigarette-card portrait miniatures of figures in world history from the last four hundred years.
