Henry VII, King of England, and a billman, (1824). Henry (1457-1509) came to the throne in 1485 after defeating Richard III at the Battle of Bosworth Field, the last engagement of the Wars of the Roses. He ruled until 1509, and was the founder of the Tudor dynasty. From Ancient Armour by Samuel Rush Mayrick.
