Maas Brothers department store, Tampa, Florida, USA, 1940. Postcard. View looking south with pedestrians, cars and streetcars on Franklin Street. Brothers Abe and Isaac Maas opened their first department store in Tampa in 1886. The business expanded until it consisted of 39 stores across Florida. The store in downtown Tampa closed in 1991 and was demolished in 2006.
